Fall Title Page

Fall Title Page - original photoLevel Easy

Being from the South, I really didn't grasp the idea of fall color. Brian had shown me glimpses of it after I moved up here, but I told him I really wanted to drive around and catch some of it one fall morning. Of course I picked a morning when there was fog so deep at the top of the mountains, we were almost blind driving along. I did get a few great pictures, and ended up with 3 pages — one page devoted to the fog pictures. I kept the layouts really simple, and used different fall colors for the matting and embellishments.

Materials:
4 fall color photos
4-5 medium size pieces of paper in fall colors (yellows, reds, browns, oranges)
Orange letter stickers
Fall leaves border sticker
1 large die cute leaf
2 small die cut leaves
Circle shape cutter
Photo adhesive
Scissors/paper trimmer

Using photo adhesive, mount the large die cut leaf coming down from the top left corner of the page, then add the two small die cut leaves on top of it. Stagger the two smaller ones coming down the stem of the larger one and then onto the middle area of the large leaf.

Step 2:
Crop the photos you have chosen to three rectangle shapes and one circle shape. Single mat the rectangle photos using the different fall color papers. Double mat the circle photo using both a lighter fall color and a darker fall color.

Using the photo adhesive, mount the circle double matted photo in approximately the center of the page. Mount one smaller rectangle photo in the top right corner and then the other two matted photos in the two bottom corners of the page. I placed the vertical view in the bottom left and the horizontal view in the bottom right corner just to keep the page balanced.

Step 4:
Cut about a 4" piece off the fall leaves border sticker and place centered along the right edge of the page. Use the orange letter stickers to spell out FALL coming down to the left of the leaf border sticker and you're done!
